So far in March, we've added points in Iowa, Georgia, New York, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida and Washington, D.C., to our map showing where Gov. Scott Walker has traveled outside Wisconsin in the last two-plus years.
The most recent addition was Sunday in Palm Beach, Florida, where Walker was scheduled to be among those in attendance for a Republican Governors Association fundraiser, The Washington Post reported.
The location, per the Post: the 30,050-square-foot oceanside mansion of billionaire David Koch.
This is how the newspaper described the house:
"Koch’s mansion stretches across four lots facing the Atlantic Ocean, according to property records. The Spanish-style compound, which boasts 13 bedrooms, 20 bathrooms and one half bath, is bordered by a massive green lawn dotted with palm trees."
There, the RGA fundraiser gave Walker and other 2016 GOP hopefuls a chance to meet with some of the party's big-time donors.
Koch and his brother Charles are linked to a number of political nonprofits that conservative candidates covet.
Over the weekend, Walker also spoke at a retreat for Republican donors in Boca Raton, Florida, after appearing in South Carolina last week.
