Capitol Centre Market now says its sister store, Lake Mills Market will open in January 2014.

Mitch Eveland, owner of Capitol Centre Market since 2007, had said in February he was hoping the 48,000-square-foot grocery store would open this fall. He said it will be about four times the store in Downtown Madison and will have 80 to 100 employees.

Lake Mills Market is expected to be part of an 18-acre project just west of Highway 89, by developer Gary Gundlach, which also has plans to include a Shopko Hometown store, restaurants and a small strip mall, according to Lake Mills city manager Steve Wilke.
