Join the UW-Madison Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems for an evening celebrating local food and sustainable agriculture in Wisconsin. Delicious appetizers and a three-course meal will feature ingredients sourced from Wisconsin farms. The Harvest Dinner is a benefit for CIAS research, farmer training and outreach on sustainable farming and food.

Keynote speaker Chris Holman, Nami Moon Farms, will speak to the conference theme: Changing Seasons, Changing Climate. Holman and his partner, Maria Davis, own and operate Nami Moon Farms outside of Stevens Point. They produce pasture-raised poultry and hogs, chicken and duck eggs, and perennial and annual crops. Chris and Maria are lifetime members of the Wisconsin Farmers Union, and Chris currently serves on the state board. He is also on the National Farmers Union board as the representative for next generation issues. As a veteran, Chris has worked closely with the Farmer Veteran Coalition, and he has also served on USDA’s Advisory Committee on Beginning Farmers and Ranchers.
