With cooler weather and Thanksgiving just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to plan a dinner party or gathering for friends or family. In this workshop, Amanda Bedessem from Pollen House will teach you how to use fall florals to create a unique and stunning centerpiece for your table, sideboard, or coffee table.
The workshop will begin with Amanda sharing various arranging materials, flower prep, and key design principles to prepare for the the hands-on portion of the class. Using a gorgeous selection of blooms and greenery you will create the base of your arrangement with guidance from the instructor. You will then learn how to incorporate more flowers to add additional texture and interest at the center of your table! At the end of the class you’ll get to take home your arrangement, and put it to use on your Thanksgiving table (or as a hostess gift).
About the Instructor: Amanda Bedessem is owner and lead designer for Pollen House. After working as a freelance florist under other designers for 3+ years, Amanda created Pollen House in order to bring her own creative floral ideas to life for brides and others. When not in her floral studio you can find Amanda out in nature – foraging for greens and other items to incorporate into her stunning designs. In her spare time she loves playing with her puppy Nala and practicing calligraphy!
RSVP now to save your seat! Registration closes Wednesday November 15th. Workshop fee includes all supplies and instructions needed, and you will go home with your vase and arrangement. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.
