NOTE: Class does NOT MEET on Halloween, Oct 31.

This beginner to intermediate digital photography course at PhotoMidwest will help digital camera owners take better photographs by understanding key photographic skills, techniques, terms, and methods. The course includes lectures, hands on exercises, in-class demonstrations, weekly assignments, and photograph examples demonstrating both problems we can encounter, as well as success we can have applying the techniques and knowledge in this course.

Upon the completion of this course,  student photographers will be knowledgeable about exposure, depth-of-field, focus modes, settings, ISO and shutter speed “strategies”, and basic composition. You will know how to review your own photographs “in camera” and how to identify a problem in order for you to improve.
