Why should I be concerned about falling?  More than 1/3 of adults 65 years or older fall each year, and falls are the leading cause of injury among older adults. Stepping On is a well-researched falls prevention program led by a health professional and lay leader.  Participants will learn valuable skills such as strength training, the dos and don’ts of medications, apparel and household basics, and what to do when a fall occurs.  Classes run seven weeks.  The fee for this class is $35 and includes all materials and a light snack.  Scholarships are available.
