We've booked two performances of this program to accommodate the crowds. Goldstein will perform selected Scarlatti sonatas solo, then the Pro Arte Quartet and a bassist will join him for Mozart Concerto No. 23, and the Brahms Piano Quintet, Op. 34.
Alon Goldstein is admired for his musical intelligence, dynamic personality, artistic vision, and innovative programming. The New York Times recently described his performance as "exemplary throughout, with his pearly touch and sparkling runs." During the 2016-17 Salon Piano Series season, Mr. Goldstein performed alongside Daniel del Pino, Lucille Chung, and Roberto Plano during the 4 on the Floor concerts.
Tickets: $45 in advance, $50 at the door. Student tickets available online.
