Glacier Valley Campground, Cambria, WI, has announced that it is offering free camping to Cancer Survivors the weekend of October 6-8, 2017. October typically signifies the end of the Wisconsin camping season, is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the NFL wears Pink and a perfect time to honor those that are living with a history of cancer. Fun events are planned, including an evening stroll around the beautiful swimming pond.

The campground owner, Diane Thomson, stated that this seemed to be the right thing to do as the camping season winds down. She pointed out that her father had an additional ten years of quality life after receiving a bone marrow transplant, so she knows the value of supporting research efforts and survivors.

Glacier Valley Campground, located at N8129 Larson Road, Cambria WI 53923, offers nearly 100 RV and tent sites for its visitors. Available onsite is a 9-hole disc golf course, mini golf, several hiking trails, and a large swimming pond.
