WHITEWATER – Beaver Dam seniors Matt Schneider and Riley Budde each captured titles at Saturday’s Nelson-Daniels indoor track and field meet at UW-Whitewater.
Schneider broke his own school record and set a new meet standard by clearing 14 feet, 7 inches in the pole vault. The old school and meet marks were each at 14-6 and he bested the rest of the field by 17 inches in capturing the title.
Schneider also added a fourth-place finish in the long jump at 19-5. He claimed a personal record in the 55-meter dash in 6.86 seconds.
