When Brennan's Market shut down last summer, it was a sad day for those fond of the Wisconsin specialty grocer's cheese selection, its specialty spreads and preserves, and its "chin-drippin'" produce.

But luckily for them, a new Brennan's has risen from the ashes of the erstwhile market. On this episode of the podcast, Lindsay Christians speaks with Brock Cummings, the wine, beer and spirits manager for the 3-month-old Brennan's Cellars at 8210 Watts Rd. According to Cummings, the new store retains the spirit of its predecessor, while carving a new path that he hopes will keep the brand alive for decades to come.
