Burglars hit a town of Dunn bar early Thursday morning, making a quick exit before deputies could respond to a burglar alarm call.
The break-in was reported at Beck's Bar, 2515 U.S. 51 in the town of Dunn, according to a news release from the Dane County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Elise Schaffer said in the release that deputies arrived at the bar at about 6:45 a.m., but the suspect or suspects fled prior to their arrival.
"They believe the suspects were inside the business for less than 15 minutes," Schaffer said.
No information was provided as to what was stolen or if there was any damage to the building.
Because there usually are numerous vehicles on U.S. 51 at that time of the morning, the Sheriff's Office is seeking witnesses to the burglary.
"If you saw a vehicle or individuals at or around Beck's bar between 6 a.m. and 6:45 a.m., call the tip line at 284-6900," Schaffer said.
