The Cap Times turns 100 in December, and we’re hoping you’ll join us for a special, free edition of Cap Times Talks at the Monona Terrace Convention Center to celebrate.

Cap Times editors Paul Fanlund, John Nichols and Dave Zweifel will be on a panel discussing our past, present and future, with the talk moderated by former Wisconsin Public Radio host Joy Cardin. The discussion starts at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12 in the Hall of Ideas at Monona Terrace, 1 John Nolen Drive, but the doors will open at 6 for appetizers and a cash bar.

Once the talk is over after an hour or so, copies of a new book by Zweifel and Nichols and published by the Wisconsin Historical Society will be for sale — “The Capital Times: A proudly radical newspaper’s century-long fight for justice and for peace.”

And of course there will be Cap Times swag available, too. Hope to see you there. And if you do come, please RSVP on our Facebook event page.
