By making street food from around the world, beets in the shape of frogs and tomato sandwiches for a farm picnic, Stephanie Ricketts and Casey Bilyeu raised some $20,000 over two years for Madison area nonprofits.
Eat for Equity Madison ultimately disbanded, but now Ricketts and Bilyeu are back with a new team, a new name — Gather Madison — and lots of energy. This week on the podcast, they talk about some of their most successful events and what they're planning for the future, still with a focus on local food and connecting the community.
"We all get in the kitchen together, we roll up our sleeves and we make something pretty special happen," said Ricketts.
