Cellers Baronia del Montsant 2010 Cims, Montsant (Spain)

Bought • Schnucks Lindbergh, 10275 Clayton Road, in August for $14.99

Description • This delicious, medium- to full-bodied red received 90 points from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate. A blend of 63 percent garnacha and 37 percent cariñena, it was aged in oak for five months. Far easier to sip than the Xibrana and ready to drink now, this dry red is well-balanced with soft tannins and good acidity. It has complex layers of fruit, tasting of cranberries, strawberries and some plum with a touch of earthiness. It would go well with paella Valenciana.
