Everything about this wine tells the story of Napa Valley: Of historic pioneers (the property was first planted in 1870 by the grandson of George Yount); of its ideal location for growing premium grapes (the fruit for this wine comes from the MacDonald’s portion of Napa’s grand cru vineyard site, To Kalon); of the extraordinary wines: beautifully rich cabernet sauvignons with intense, sun-blessed fruit balanced by vibrant acidity and oak complexity; and of family (the MacDonald brothers Alex and Graeme carry on the work of their forefathers).

It is history like this, special vineyard sites like this, wines like this and people like this that bring wine lovers of the world together in times of celebration and in times of tragedy.
