Hinckley verdict

This artist’s sketch depicts a cell in the U.S. District Court House in Washington, shown April 24, 1982, which will house John W. Hinckley Jr., during his trial for the shooting of President Ronald Reagan and three others, scheduled to begin on Tuesday. The cell measures 15 by 17 feet, with a room-long bench. A convex mirror at the back of the cell shows the toilet area. Two television cameras are outside the cell in the five-foot hallway, where a marshal will be stationed at all times. A second marshal, who is also a paramedic, will be brought in from Atlanta for the duration of the trial. (AP Photo/Judy Lineberger)
