Madison police are looking for two young men who were seen spraying gang-related insignia on two vans, a truck and two buildings on the city's south side.

The vandalism happened at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 2000 and 2100 blocks of South Park Street, police said in a news release.

A passerby called police after seeing two young men spray painting parked vehicles.

"Officers found two vans and a truck that had been tagged with gang insignia, and similar writing on two buildings in the two blocks," said police spokesman Joel DeSpain.

The passerby told police the two young men were dressed in dark clothing and were seen running west toward Dane Street.
