For reliable assistance in registering and voting, go to your local municipal clerk. You can find your clerk through the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board website.

Go to: myvote.wi.gov and:

1. Select what kind of voter you are (most are “Regular Voters”).

2. Enter your name and date of birth to check your registration status, polling place and clerk’s contact information.

3. Or search by your address to obtain your clerk’s name and contact info.

I just ran across your observation about the link. I passed it on to the webdesk editor who said he has fixed the problem. (Apparently if someone on our staff fails to include http in the url, the content management system takes matters into its own hands and converts the url.) Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Typical of Madison.com, their modified link to the website doesn't work on iPhone. They had to add their own directs to a public website instead of a simple link:

file:///host.madison.com/tncms/admin/action/myvote.wi.gov

Can we accuse Madison.com of voter suppression now?

The correct link is
https://myvote.wi.gov/
