Advocates for people with developmental disabilities are organizing three small-group discussions this month about Dane County’s transition in February through May to Family Care and IRIS, Medicaid programs different from those the county has used.

Each meeting will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. They will take place Jan. 11 at the Sun Prairie School District office, 501 S. Bird St., Sun Prairie; Jan. 17 at Rosemary Garfoot Public Library, 2107 Julius St., Cross Plains; and Jan. 18 at Stoughton Public Library, 304 S. 4th St., Stoughton.

Sponsors include The Arc Dane County, LOV Dane, Wisconsin Long Term Care Coalition and Third Place Group. The meetings are free, but registration is recommended. Go to or call (608) 833-1199.
