STURGEON BAY—Colin Sinnott Brandt, age 32, of Sturgeon Bay, Wis., passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 29, 2017. Born June 15, 1985, son of Lisa (Sinnott) and Thomas Brandt, Colin grew up in Mazomanie and Mount Horeb alongside his younger sister, Samantha, attending Wisconsin Heights and Pecatonica Schools. He loved spending summer days at Devil’s Lake, rock climbing, swimming and snorkeling with family; and snowboarding and skiing were favored winter activities. Colin was very close to his grandparents, Dickinson and Audrey (Balk) Sinnott, often creating artwork with his grandmother. Colin’s family expanded in 2005; he and Nicole Daum were blessed with a daughter, Audrina Jo. Colin savored his time with Audrina, creating memories by baking Christmas cookies and reading books together. On Dec. 29, 2015, Colin married Carly Elizabeth Nondorf. They enjoyed playing pool, watching movies, and working out together; the pair often dined out with friends as well as stayed in, with video games and music.
Colin is survived by his wife, Carly (Nondorf) Brandt; a daughter, Audrina Jo Sendelbach; parents, Lisa Brandt (Rick Onasch) and Thomas Brandt (Sharon Blum); siblings, Samantha Brandt and Jeff Brandt (Santhia); both grandmothers, Audrey Sinnott and Dolores (Armstrong) Brandt; a dear family friend, Kevin Bergeron; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Colin was preceded in death by Audrina’s mother, Nicole Daum; and both grandfathers, Dickinson Sinnott and Ronald Brandt.
Friends and family are invited to gather celebrating his life and offer condolences on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the home of Lisa Brandt: 9233 Gorst Drive, Mazomanie. The Harder I Try The Harder It Gets…. Colin’s only tattoo, bears but a glimpse into the heavy weight he carried, from which he is now free. Rest peacefully beloved son, brother, husband, father, and friend.
