SAUK CITY - Patricia J. Krumenauer, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2013, surrounded by her family.
She was born on April 21, 1934, in Wabasha Minn., the daughter of Patrick and Pauline Price. On Aug. 23, 1952 Patricia married Alois Krumenauer and spent the next 60 years raising her family. Patricia loved nature, spending her day in the garden planting the flowers of spring and then watching them come to life. She also loved to go fishing with her husband. Patty was well known for baking home-made bread and rolls. Most of all she loved to sit and watch the birds that came to the feeders that surrounded her home. These passions she passed on to her children with love.
Patricia is survived by her brother, James (Lois) Price; and her children, Barb (Steve) Brunner, Jerry (Terri) Krumenauer, Debra (Sid) Ballweg, Teresa (John) Onsager, Mary (Steve) DeMontigny, and Pat (Jane Zeman) Krumenauer. Her life was filled with eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alois; and her parents, Patrick and Pauline; and two grandchildren, Emily DeMontigny and Travis Ballweg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ALOYSIUS CHURCH, 115 Madison Street, Sauk City, on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at the St. Aloysius Cemetery. A visitation will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 251 Water Street, Sauk City, on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and also on Thursday from 10:30 a.m until 11:15 a.m. at the funeral home.
