BLACK EARTH—Anna E. Schumacher, age 88, of Black Earth, Wis., died on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, at Heartland Country Village. She was born March 22, 1929, in Daleyville, Wis., to Urban and Teresa (Cooper) Thony, and grew up in Vermont Township, Wis.
She was married to Francis Ingold, and then she married Herbert L. Schumacher on April 4, 1979. Herbert died on March 2, 1999. She was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Mazomanie, Wis. and of its Council of Catholic Women.
Anna is survived by her sons, Raymond (Kathi) Ingold of Blue Mounds and Gregory (Vannesa) Ingold of Fullerton, Calif.; her grandsons, Aaron (Madeline), Jesse (Melissa) and Anthony; two great-grandchildren, Abbey and Clover; sister-in-law, Janet Thony of Waunakee; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and two brothers, John and Leo Thony.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at ST. BARNABAS CATHOLIC CHURCH in Mazomanie, Wis. Burial will be at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Vermont Township, Wis. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. on Saturday at the HOLY FAMILY FELLOWSHIP HALL in Mazomanie.
