The voice of Mitch Henck, WIBA-AM radio personality, Sinatra worshipper, former television reporter and basketball, politics and golf junkie, has been missing this week for morning "Outside the Box" listeners.

Henck suffered a "mild stroke" early Monday morning, according to his co-workers and a notice on the station's web page. His colleagues held a get-well-Mitch discussion Thursday morning on WIBA.

"He's in the hospital, but he is recovering and getting stronger and better every day," said news director Robin Colbert.
