BEAVER DAM — The victim of a weekend fire in a Dodge County trailer court has not been identified, but the Beaver Dam school superintendent said that the victim might be a district student.

“Sources indicated that a student, who is a senior at Beaver Dam High School, may have died in the fire,” Beaver Dam superintendent Steve Vessey said in a statement Monday.

Dodge County Sheriff Patricia Ninmann said a family lived in the town of Calamus residence but the sheriff’s office believes most of the family was out of town during Saturday’s fire.

The Sheriff’s Office made an arrest and is detaining a Cambria man who is a person of interest in the investigation. The man’s name has not been released.
