Editorial Guidelines

The editorial board of Nursingmatters welcomes unsolicited articles dedicated to supporting and fostering the growth of professional nursing. Articles that: reflect the essence of nursing; demonstrate situations which empower nurses; demonstrate creative innovations nurses have undertaken to improve the practice of nursing and/or care to the community; reflect the impact of political decisions on the practice of nursing; or keep nurses informed on any subject that influences the practice of nursing; are examples of the type of articles we desire for print. The editorial board does define monthly editorial focuses that are available upon request. Copy will be printed at the discretion of the editors, publisher, and editorial board. Madison Newspapers, Inc. shall own all right, title and interest in all submitted materials.

Please note that photos cannot be taken from the Internet. Digital photos must have a resolution of at least 200 dots per inch (dpi) and can be color or black and white. Both photos and releases can be mailed or e-mailed to Kaye Lillesand at the above addresses.
