I want to offer a heartfelt congratulations to the Badgers men's basketball team.
The way they finished the season, beating Maryland and taking Michigan State to the wire in two late games, showed that Wisconsin's defense and never-say-die attitude are back. With that comes the ability to play with anybody.
The Badgers were down two likely starters in Kobe King and D'Mitrik Trice. Also, Brad Davison played with one arm after at least six shoulder dislocations. Talk about toughness. I have never heard of any player at any level doing what Davidson did.
The consecutive streak of NCAA tournament appearances was broken, but the Badgers' fight and spirit was not. I'm so proud of these young men and the coaching staff.
