ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) -- Jake Cave had two hits and two RBI as the Rochester Red Wings topped the Syracuse Chiefs 6-4 on Wednesday.
Rochester batted around in the first inning, sending 10 batters to the plate and scoring five runs, including two RBI each from Cave and Nick Buss.
After Syracuse scored two runs, the Chiefs cut into the deficit in the sixth inning when Jacob Wilson hit a solo home run and Irving Falu scored on a wild pitch.
The Red Wings tacked on another run in the eighth when Willians Astudillo hit an RBI single, bringing home Brock Stassi.
Rochester southpaw Dietrich Enns (2-4) picked up the win after allowing two runs on five hits over five innings. Opposing starter Tommy Milone (2-3) took the loss in the International League game after giving up five runs and three hits while only recording a single out. Nick Anderson retired the side in order for his first save of the season.
Wilson homered and singled for the Chiefs. Rafael Bautista homered and singled, also stealing a base.
