Ohio prep receiver Michael "A.J." Jordan announced Wednesday evening that he will play college football at the University of Wisconsin, picking the Badgers over Michigan, according to a report by Scout.com.
Jordan, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound senior, plays at Trotwood-Madison High School in suburban Dayton. He has been slowed by a hamstring injury this season, but has nine catches for 103 yards (11.4 average), according to a report in the Dayton Daily News.
He announced his decision at a scheduled event at 8 Ball & Wings, a sports bar in Trotwood.

According to Scout.com, Jordan had offers from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue and West Virginia.
Jordan is rated a four-star recruit by Scout.com and a three-star recruit by Rivals.com.
He is the third Ohio prospect to verbally commit to the Badgers in the five days since their 31-18 victory over No. 1 Ohio State, joining running back Trayion Durham and offensive lineman Ray Ball.
In all, 16 players have pledged to the Badgers as part of the Class of 2011.
