A quick scouting report on Indiana (4-5, 1-4), which will host the University of Wisconsin football team (6-2, 3-2) in a Big Ten Conference game Saturday at 11 a.m. at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Ind.

Coach: Bill Lynch, third season, 14-20 overall, 5-16 in league play.

Record: 4-5 overall, 1-4 Big Ten. The Hoosiers have lost five of their last six games.

Poll position: Indiana is unranked.

Last week: The Hoosiers had a 10-point lead at Iowa entering the fourth quarter, but the Hawkeyes erupted for 28 fourth-quarter points to win 42-24.

Key players: Sophomore wide receiver Tandon Doss is third in the Big Ten with 54 receptions and fourth with 716 receiving yards. Senior cornerback Ray Fisher is fourth in the nation in kickoff returns, with a 37.4 average; he's returned two kickoffs for touchdowns.

By the numbers: The Hoosiers are tied for eighth in the Big Ten in scoring offense (23.6), ninth in scoring defense (26.5), fifth in pass offense (232.6), last in pass defense (246.6), eighth in rushing offense (127.4), eighth in rushing defense (145.9), seventh in total offense (360.0) and ninth in total defense (392.5).

Series with UW: The Badgers lead 35-18-2, including a 15-9-1 mark in Bloomington. UW has won its last four meetings with Indiana.

Last meeting: The Badgers rushed for 441 yards to beat the Hoosiers 55-20 in Bloomington. Wide receiver David Gilreath rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns, including a 90-yard score on an end around early in the second half. P.J. Hill added 128 yards and three touchdowns for the Badgers, who outscored Indiana 27-0 in the second half.

TV: Saturday's game, an 11 a.m. start, will be televised by Big Ten Network.
