While plenty of scheduling issues must still be resolved following Big Ten Conference expansion, the University of Wisconsin football team has reportedly firmed up a non-conference game for 2012.

The Austin (Texas) American-Statesman reported on Wednesday that Texas-El Paso has scheduled a game against the Badgers in Madison for that season. No date for the game was given.

The Badgers also have a non-conference game scheduled at Oregon State on Sept. 8, 2012.

Texas agreed to move its home football game against the Miners from 2012 to 2016, when the Big 12 Conference is expected to drop its division format and switch from eight to nine conference games, following the departure of Nebraska and Colorado.

That decision by Texas freed up UTEP to schedule the game at UW.
