The University of Wisconsin football game Sept. 21 against Purdue at Camp Randall Stadium will be nationally televised on ABC (Ch. 27 in Madison) and will start at 2:30 p.m.

The Big Ten Conference announced the start time and TV network on Monday. The game is a "mirror" game, meaning in those areas of the U.S. where the game isn't on ABC, it will be on ESPN or ESPN2.

This will be the opening Big Ten Conference game for both schools and is the earliest in the season that Wisconsin has opened conference play since 1982.

The Badgers have defeated the Boilermakers seven straight times and haven't lost to Purdue at Camp Randall Stadium since 2003.
