A notorious juggler of lines and lineups, UW men's hockey coach Mike Eaves is going with the same 18 skaters for the third straight game Friday night in a WCHA series opener with St. Cloud State at the National Hockey Center.

Inside the numbers: Goloubef shares the team lead with a +10 rating -- along with McDonagh -- but Schultz, his partner, is a -1. What gives?

If you watch closely, Goloubef tends to take longer shifts, which has translated into more opportunities to be on the ice when goals have been scored. Also, Schultz has been on the ice for both shorthanded goals allowed by the Badgers -- which results in a minus -- and has been remarkably snakebit when it comes to ending his shift and having UW score a goal.
