After its 21-game unbeaten streak against Ohio State was snapped by the Buckeyes a night earlier, the University of Wisconsin women's hockey team got back to its winning ways Saturday night.
Junior Genna Prough scored her first two goals of the season and the host Badgers used a three-goal second period to beat the Buckeyes 5-3 in a Western Collegiate Hockey Association game at the Kohl Center.
UW (3-3-0 overall, 3-3-0 WCHA) fell behind 2-1 before sophomore Brooke Ammerman tied the game on a penalty shot.
The Badgers scored two more times in the period on their way to a split the weekend series with the Buckeyes (2-3-3, 2-3-1).
