Jennifer Kindret and Robert Morris handed the No. 6 University of Wisconsin women's hockey team its first nonconference defeat in nearly two years Friday, a 3-1 decision before 1,679 at the Kohl Center.
Kindret scored two first-period goals to pace the Colonials (4-5), while the Badgers (5-4) -- coming off an impressive sweep of then-No. 2 Minnesota -- never got their offense untracked.
Saige Pacholok scored the lone goal for Wisconsin in the third period.
The Badgers' last nonconference defeat came Nov. 18, 2007.
