Football highlights: Carson is a four-time letterwinner in football, competing at inside linebacker and guard for the Mount Horeb/Barneveld co-op program. He earned All-Badger North Conference second-team honors at linebacker and helped lead MHB to a first-ever berth in the WIAA Division 3 state semifinals as a junior.

Baseball highlights: A three-time letterwinner and starter at catcher, Carson has also competed at pitcher and in the outfield. A three-time Six Rivers East Conference first-team selection at catcher and two-time Player of the Year, he earned All-District first-team honors as a junior and freshman and second-team honors as a sophomore. He earned All-State third-team honors as a sophomore and is a three-time all-area selection and a team Most Valuable Player. The Eagles have compiled a 61-9 record during his prep career and have won three straight Six Rivers East Conference titles. Barneveld advanced to the WIAA Division 4 state tournament his freshman year.

I got my start in sports: When I was two years old playing baseball and football in the back yard with my dad and older brother, Cody.

I wish I could play: Lacrosse.

My most memorable moments in sports: Playing with my brother in football and baseball. I was a freshman and he was a senior. It was very special to share the field with him and we made it to state. Also winning the 2012 Baseball 19U AAA Wisconsin State Tournament with the Madison Impact Team was special.

I like about high school sports: My teammates and getting to know players from other towns.

I enjoy playing baseball because: I love the competition and I love the relationships with other teammates.

Advice: “Enjoy every second of it because it goes way to fast. I would also tell them to work out every chance they can. It will only make them better.”

My role models are: My dad, Ed Carmody, my summer baseball coach, Dan Pavlue, and my football coaches, Travis Rohrer and Andy Rice.

Most inspirational teammates: Klayton Krantz, Cody Carmody, Jake Welsh and Casey Rose.

My family also includes: My mom, Jill, my sisters, Kayla and Karlee, and our Black Lab, Payton.

Favorite TV show: Blue Mountain State, Supernatural.

Favorite food: Anything in the refrigerator.
