Player to watch: Junior center Frank Kaminsky had nine points in UW’s 48-38 victory at Virginia on Wednesday night, ending a run of six consecutive games in double figures, but he grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds and now has the team lead in that category at 6.1 per game.

You should know: Marquette is shooting 27.2 percent from 3-point range. The Golden Eagles went 1-for-11 from beyond the arc in a 67-59 loss to San Diego State in the Wooden Legacy tournament on Sunday in Anaheim, Calif. Marquette also had 15 turnovers and only five assists on 21 field goals in that game. … Burton, a former Milwaukee Vincent standout, scored 15 points off the bench against San Diego State after scoring 25 in his first seven games.

    I booed him at the Rose Bowl tailgate and if I were in WI at the game I would do the same. Winning elections and recalls with out of state money flys in the face of ...fill in the blank.
