PGA Tour: Lemon, Turcott, Woltman get second-stage Q-School assignments

The assignments are set and the nine golfers with Wisconsin ties know where they will compete starting Monday for the second stage of PGA Tour Qualifying School.

Madison's Jim Lemon will compete in the qualifier at Southern Hills Plantation Course at Brooksville, Fla. with fellow Wisconsin golfers Mike Johnston of Milwaukee and Tim Cantwell Jr. of Brookfield.

Middleton's John Turcott will tee it up at Deerwood Golf Club in Kingwood, Texas, at the same qualifer as PGA Tour veteran J.P. Hayes of Appleton.

Beaver Dam's Dan Woltman, like Lemon and Turcott a former University of Wisconsin golfer, will play at Oak Valley Golf Club in Beaumont, Calif.

Other golfers with Wisconsin ties who will begin play Monday in the second of three qualifying stages include: River Falls' Neil Johnson (at McKinney Texas); PGA Tour veteran Skip Kendall of Mequon (Panama City, Fla.); and former Marquette golfer Mike Van Sickle (at Pine Mountain Ga.).
