The stage is set for a regional final showdown tonight in Brodhead.

Sophomore point guard Kiana Canon led five players in double figures with 14 points as host Marshall took a 65-47 victory over Clinton in a WIAA Division 3 girls basketball regional semifinal Friday night.

The victory, combined with unbeaten Brodhead’s 57-20 victory over Beloit Turner, set up a matchup between the state’s second-ranked and fifth-ranked teams, respectively, at 7 tonight in Brodhead.

Sophomore center Danyell Gumz scored 13 points for the Cardinals (22-1). Sophomore guard Kelsey Bakken, freshman guard Elizabeth Lutz and sophomore post Amber Schoenicke each added 11.

The fifth-ranked Cardinals took charge in the second half when Canon scored 12 points.

Schoenicke scored all 11 of her points in the half.

Senior guard Megan Lantz had 16 points and senior forward Mallory Niemann 14 for Clinton (18-6).

The host Cardinals (23-0) allowed only nine points in the second half to roll past the Trojans (10-13) and extend their undefeated season.

Senior guard Meg Duffield scored 14 points, including three 3-pointers. Senior forward Carly Mohns also added 14 points.

Emily Beyer scored five points to lead the Trojans.

Senior forward Keri Bachler and junior forward Moriah Hackbarth scored 10 points apiece to lead the Warriors (22-1) to a victory over the visiting Eagles (15-9) in Lake Mills.

Lakside Lutheran outscored the Eagles in the second quarter 18-11.

Junior guard Brittney Fritz scored 15 points and sophomore guard Calli Linse had 10 for Jefferson.

The Dodgers (18-5) held the Blackhawks (10-14) scoreless in the first quarter and extended their lead to 13 in the third quarter en route to victory.

Junior guard Taylor Stanek scored 10 points to lead host Dodgeville.

Senior guard McKenzie Banasik scored a game-high 11 points for the Blackhawks.

The Dodgers will host Madison Edgewood at 7 tonight.

Junior forward Emma Rodenberg scored 20 of her 22 points in the second half to help the host Green Devils (21-1) pull away against the Pioneers (11-12) in Adams.

Junior forward Hannah Landon added 11 points for Adams-Friendship.

Senior guard Paige Peschel led Westfield (11-12) with 17 points, going 11-for-13 from the free throw line.

The Green Devils will host Richland Center at 7 tonight.

The Hornets (13-11) took a 14-8 lead after one quarter, and did not trail after that against the host Chiefs (17-7).

Freshman guard Brooklyn Liegel scored 19 points, including five 3-pointers. Senior guard Leigh Drury also scored 19 points for the Hornets.

Sophomore guard Dana Percival scored 11 points for the Chiefs.

Senior forward Elle Rehfeldt sank a go-ahead, 10-foot shot with less than 3 minutes to play, and then made two late free throws to help seal the outcome as the Cardinals (14-10) beat the host Lions (13-11).

Morgan Seltzner led Columbus with 10 points and seven rebounds. The Cardinals will visit top-seeded Oostburg at 7 tonight.
