Lodi has taken over the No. 1 ranking among the state’s medium-sized schools in this week’s Associated Press football poll.

The Blue Devils (6-0) assumed the top spot after Green Bay Notre Dame (5-1) lost to Bay Port and fell from first to third. St. Croix Central (6-0) moved up to No. 2.

Also in the medium division, Mount Horeb/Barneveld moved up a spot to No. 7, Lake Mills moved up a spot to No. 9 and Clinton earned honorable mention.

The Division 1 rankings held exactly the same from No. 1 through No. 10, with Waunakee (6-0) holding on at No. 3, Sun Prairie (6-0) at no. 4 and Monona Grove (6-0) at No. 9. Stoughton (6-0) earned honorable mention.

In the small schools division, Bangor (6-0) held on to its No. 3 spot, Black Hawk (6-0) dropped from a tie to fourth into fifth, Markesan (5-1) moved up to 10th and Fall River and Horicon/Hustisford earned honorable mention.
