Carter Hottman scored a hat trick and tallied two assists Thursday night to lead the Badger South Conference champion Madison Edgewood boys hockey team to a 9-0 victory over the over the Monroe co-op.

Drew Lenz added two goals and two assists for Edgewood (17-4-2, 12-0-0 Badger South) against the Avalanche (3-18-2, 1-10-1).

Reedsburg co-op 6, DeForest 2

At Reedsburg Area Community Arena, the Badger North Conference champion Cheavers (18-5-1, 9-1-0) downed the Norskies (4-19, 0-10).

Waunakee 5, Beaver Dam 3

Jacob Werlein, Grant Carlson and Kyle Ihrke each tallied a goal and an assist as the host Warriors (12-11-1, 7-2-1 Badger North) used a two-goal second period to pull past the Golden Beavers (10-13-1, 4-6).

Ben Cremers and Ian Cremers each totaled two points for Beaver Dam.

Janesville co-op 6, Madison La Follette/East 1

The Bluebirds (6-16-0, 5-8-0 Big Eight) earned a conference victory over the Lakers (2-19-1, 0-14-0) at Hartmeyer Ice Arena.

Tomah 5, Baraboo/Portage 3

Five players scored for the host Timberwolves (5-17-2) in a non-conference victory over the Thunderbirds (8-15). Jack Rath scored twice for Baraboo/Portage.
