Luke Kuberski scored three goals and Cade Janecke added a goal and three assists Saturday to carry the host Monroe co-op boys hockey team to a 5-1 victory over Sparta in non-conference play.

The Cheesemakers improved to 3-11-0 on the season. Jack Steinhoff scored a goal for Sparta (4-6-1).

Oregon 2, La Crosse Aquinas/Holmen 0

Tyson Rohrer scored in the third period and assisted on a Colton Eyers goal to lead the visiting Panthers (12-3-0) over the Avalanche (13-2-0). Jacob Ayers had 33 saves for Oregon.

Fond du Lac 6, Monona Grove 3

Max Erstad, Nolan Grier and Tanner Schultz each scored goals as the visiting Cardinals (7-9-0) beat the Silver Eagles (3-10-1). Sebastian Bingham, Garrett Vinge and Brady Gerothanas scored goals for Monona Grove.

Fond du Lac Springs 6, Beaver Dam 0

Justin Schwartzmiller netted a hat trick and Noah Pickart tallied three assists as the visiting Ledgers (11-3-1) defeated the

Golden Beavers (5-10-0). Colin Ahern had 15 saves for Fond du Lac Springs.

Verona 5, Antigo 2

Leo Renlund scored two goals and Brockton Baker and Graham Sticha each had an assist as the host Wildcats (12-3-2) defeated the Red Robins (5-9-1). Adam Schmidt and C.J. Levis scored goals for Antigo.

GIRLS HOCKEY

Sun Prairie co-op 4, Appleton Xavier co-op 2

Margo Thousand scored midway through the first period and added a pair of assists to help the host Cap City Cougars (10-5-1) defeat the Fox Cities Stars (8-6-2). Sun Prairie’s Amanda Bauer followed up with a goal just 17 seconds later. Colleen Milligan and Carson Sheridan each added scores in the third period for the Cap City Cougars.

Beloit Memorial co-op 7, Stoughton co-op 0

Senior Maggy Henschler scored and tallied four assists as the visiting Fury (15-2-2, 8-0-0) defeated the Icebergs (5-13-0, 0-6-0) in a Badger Conference tilt. Beloit Memorial recorded three goals in the first period, and four in the second frame. Anika Einbeck and Alyssa Knauf each had a goal and an assist for the Fury.
