Over his first two years with the Stoughton wrestling team, Hunter Lewis has shown that he’s one of the top wrestlers in the state.

Now, Lewis will have the opportunity to test his skills against some of the best in the world.

Lewis, who just completed his sophomore year at Stoughton, recently finished in the top six at the UWW Cadet Greco-Roman Nationals in Akron, Ohio to earn a spot representing the United States at the Cadet Pan American Championships in Buenos Aires on July 7-9.

The WIAA Division 1 state runner-up at 106 in February, Lewis will compete at 110 pounds in both freestyle and Greco-Roman.

Macey Kilty of Stratford at 132 pounds and Hannah Ramos of Kenosha at 143 pounds will also represent the United States at the event.

The Cadet Pan American Championships will be broadcast live on trackwrestling.com.
