Celebrate Wisconsin’s winter
Kiss a sturgeon for good luck during Fond du Lac’s Sturgeon Spectacular, running Friday through Sunday. If smooching bottom-feeders isn’t your thing, there’s plenty of other activities at “A Celebration of Winter, and Really Big Fish.”
Family-friendly outdoor fun includes ice skating, ice-kiting, ice bowling, snowman-building, snowshoeing, Clydesdale-led carriage rides, live music, bonfire, fireworks and more. Watch as teams carve huge blocks of snow in the state snow-sculpting competition, an outdoor classic hockey game and snowmobile and ATV drag races.
Indoor activities include music and parties, magic, interactive exhibits and a kids’ sleepover at the children’s museum and more. Catch performances of the “Guys on Ice” musical on actual ice inside a heated tent on Lake Winnebago.
