It won't be a total washout, but if you're going to outdoor events in Madison over the next couple of days, bring an umbrella.

The National Weather Service said showers and maybe thunderstorms are expected Thursday night through Saturday night, with over an inch of rain falling in that time frame in Madison.

Sunshine should return on Sunday.
