Nine Wisconsin businesses received Family Business of the Year awards Thursday at a Madison banquet, among 30 nominees in the 12th annual contest sponsored by consulting firm Smith & Gesteland, First Business Bank and the Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek law firm.
Winners were chosen by an independent panel, according to a news release from Smith & Gesteland.
