Home Security of America, a provider of home warranty products, will close its call center at 1861 Ludden Drive in Cross Plains.

According to a Wisconsin Business Closing and Mass Layoff notice received by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development on Friday, the call center employs 121 people. The company said most employees will be offered alternative positions working from home.

The company expects the closure will eliminate a total of 15 positions. The company offered no reason in the notice why it was closing its call center.

The company said Dec. 6 will be the last day of employment for those who do not accept or are not offered other positions. Employees not offered jobs will be eligible for severance benefits.
