What started as a plumbing business in Dave Jones' Mount Horeb garage in 1977 is now a thriving business with annual revenues of $25 million and 150 employees. Dave Jones and his wife, Jill, started the business and serve as president and vice president respectively of the company.

"We are a full-service mechanical contractor, providing plumbing, heating, cooling, and fire protection installations in both residential and commercial settings. We also feature a complete service department for southern Wisconsin," said Dave Jones, who became a master plumber in 1977.

In 1985, the company diversified, adding heating and cooling work. In 1992, the company moved to Madison to be closer to customers and major suppliers. In October 2005, the company moved into new headquarters in Monona. The 30,000-square-foot facility includes prefabrication equipment for plumbing and heating and a huge warehouse which was essential for the company's continued growth and technological advancement in the industry. Administrative staff is also housed in this building.

In 2008, Jones acquired a local fire protection business and provides design, installation and service of such systems throughout Wisconsin.

A second generation also works at the company, in the form of a son and a daughter.

Son Greg joined in 1999. "I worked in the company at a very young age and joined right out of high school," said Greg, 31. He started as a laborer in the field, became a plumber, project manager, general manager and is now CEO. He completed a five-year plumbing apprenticeship with Associated Builders and Contractors to become a master plumber. He is currently enrolled at Edgewood College for a business degree.

Dave and Jill's daughter Holly Kellesvig, 38, joined the business in 2002 after spending 10 years in the banking industry. She began as the purchasing manager and is now the chief operating officer. Siblings Greg and Holly can be heard on radio commercials touting the company's commitment to "green" products and services including geothermal heating and cooling and plumbing. "We take great pride in staying on the cutting edge of these systems and protecting our environment for our children and many generations to come," said Holly.

Having been in business for 35 years, there are many long-standing customer relationships. "We care as much about their success as we do our own," Greg said. "We have a family-run atmosphere that stresses doing whatever it takes to satisfy our customers."
