Man, 86, killed by delivery truck in Portage

An 86-year-old Portage man was killed Friday morning after he was struck by a delivery truck, Portage police said.

Leonard Nigh, 31, of Plover, had just made a delivery on Schultz Street near the intersection with Klemp Street in Portage around 11 a.m. He was backing up in his truck when he struck Robert Little, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the accident remained under investigation.
