A body found in a lake Monday has been identified as 29-year-old Marisa Dahms, who had been missing since late last month, the Dane County Medical Examiner's Office said.

A person searching for Dahms, of Waunakee, discovered her body in a park lagoon at the Lake Melvin Park in the village of Dane. An autopsy conducted on Tuesday found no sign of foul play in her death, according to the medical examiner's office.

Dahms had been missing since Sept. 28 and was last seen in the area of Lake Melvin Park.

The death remains under investigation by the medical examiner's office, the Dane County Sheriff's Office and the village of Dane Police Department.
