A vehicle going erratically down a highway near Middleton early Saturday morning led to the arrest of a Madison man for his alleged fifth drunken driving offense.

Isiah Wilson, 37, was taken into custody after completing field sobriety tests, Middleton police said.

Police were called at about 3 a.m. about the vehicle on Highway M, with an officer finding a vehicle that matched the description on Century Avenue near Elm Lane.

Wilson allegedly had slurred speech and other signs of impairment related to alcohol use.
